Resources to Minimize Environmental Impact

Aiming to establish environmentally friendly plants that contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions, NISSIN promotes the integration of cogeneration facilities that use natural gas.
This system uses natural gas for fuel to generate electricity that is used in our plants.
We also effectively utilize the hot water and exhaust heat produced by these systems.

Naoetsu Plant Initiatives

The same cogeneration system was integrated into the Naoetsu Plant in December 2005. At this plant, the electricity generated is used at our new plant for automotive parts, and the hot water and exhaust heat is also utilized not only in alumite treatment as well as the cooling and heating systems, but also to melt snow in the winter.

Tobu Plant Initiatives

The same cogeneration system was integrated into the Tobu Plant in November 2006. The Tobu Plant became the third plant to integrate this system after the Ueda and Naoetsu Plants.
The electricity that is output here is used for plant production, and the hot water and exhaust heat is also used for surface treatment processes and for the cooling and heating system.
NISSIN produces automotive parts at these "environmentally friendly plants" which help contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
