My name is Eiji Okawara and I’m pleased to introduce myself as a newly appointed President and Representative Director of Nissin Kogyo.

This year marks the 59th year since our company's founding. The Nissin Group as a whole, which now has more than 10,000 employees, has evolved into an integratedbrake system manufacturer able to globally provide brake systems for motorcycles and automobiles.

I believe this is the result of our efforts to promptly shift our attention to the world and establish production and development facilities throughout Asia, the Americas and Europe and to meet the universal needs of motorization, which are to satisfy the requirements of the environment and realize total safety.

Amid the structural changes in the automobile market and the growing problems regarding energy constraints and the environment in recent years, the Nissin Group is expanding local procurement and production in emerging countries, where our activities are focused. At the same time, we will strive to strengthen our current competitiveness and establish a firm foundation for future growth through the development and provision of lighter and high value-added products that are environmentally friendly and safe.
